It’s so different to have snow here then in PA. As soon as people hear the word “snow” they freak out!! I’m sure the grocery stores were crazy this week getting ready for the snow that usually lasts one day. James always says, “Do people really run out of milk and bread in one day?” It’s not like we’re snowed in for days or weeks when the snow does come. School was canceled on Wednesday night for Thursday and that was just because they were calling for snow. Thursday morning there was no snow when I woke up and we got a light dusting late that morning. However, the roads do freeze here and we all no that NO ONE can drive on ice!!! Needless to say, we don’t go anywhere on these days. School was canceled yesterday late afternoon for today. The wind chill was to be in the negatives so I guess they were preparing for that. It’s only been 17* here and flurrying all day. That’s cold for here and it’s a very damp cold here which is bone chilling. Marlie and I have been in our warm house by the fireplace all day. Here are a few photos of our “snow.” I think Marlie was sad to see so little because she looked at me and said, “this isn’t like at Grammie’s house.”
